Lupa nk update blog pun.

One habbit that I can't change...setiap kali "KEMBALI" ke blog, mesti tukar nama blog baru. Kali nie jadik  "THE WRITER" plak. Takpe lah kan, my blog, my space, and my laptop. At least bagi semangat baru nak update and share stories. Besok2 kalau bosan dengan nama blog ni, tukar lain lagi....LOL.

To my readers out there. I hope you all are doing good. Sila kembali rajin kunjungi blog nie. I noticed the CHATROOM dah "rosak". Sangat ketinggalan kan, baru nak sedar. *sigh*

A Short Update

Currently working in Genting Plantations Berhad. Based in Genting Plantations Research Centre as Research Executive (R & D) in Malacca. I will write more in the next posts.

Degree Practical

Today (16 Mei 2010) is my First Day in Second Practical (as I had go through once last year in different places). Chronology for my practical applications:-

1- apply practical for Technology Park Malaysia in Bukit Jalil, but no respons even they actually had promise to give us places. ~maybe they are busy~ (trying to give good impressions)

2- apply for Malaysian Palm Oil Berhad (MPOB) but was rejected as they had already accepted someone else earlier.

3- last strike, I deal with my lecturer for Sime Darby Plantations in Banting but sadly, I have to "let go" and pass it to my other classmates that also didn't get places yet. *sigh*

4- God knows best. I remember Plant Protection Unit in Agricultural Department Gong Pauh, and they had accepted our application! ~yeayh~

First Day Practical.

Greet with big cute smile, we quickly introduced ourself and met with Encik Zazali b Chik. He is the Head of Unit here, also acts as our Industrial Supervisor. Seriously he was really a nice person and a good presentor (as he delivered a good presentation & briefing on our assignment, work schedule and introduction to AREA WIDE CONTROL for Bactrocera Sp. (fruit flies)

Final Year Research Topics.

Next semester, I had to start with my final year research project. For my course, we need to run our own research (mainly on agriculture and biotechnology) and present it during the last semester, after we finished all the thesis or report journal writing. 

To choose the best one, makes me so confused. Many factors need to be considered. I had to decide on topic that i have interest in it, the one that have a bright future prospect, easy and applicable to be accomplished (as we only do final year research project for degree, not master or pHD okay), easy to be evaluated and scored, and the most important is that I myself must have a strong desire to accomplished it. :)

To make things easier, I had narrow down some scope for my future topic. I have strong interest in Entomology, or precisely pest (INSECT) on crops. I see some future on it, as according to my lecturer, Malaysia still have a lack of experts in this field. And up to date, insect had caused up to 35% loss to our agriculture and had become one of the major factor that caused big loss to the industry. I had approached some of my lecturer and discussed the topics on this field. Just to share with u guys, these are some "description" on my future topics;

a- research on the natural enemies for bagworm-ulat bungkus (Metisa Plana Walker).

i had to rare the natural enemies of this bagworm, namely as Apantalese Metisae Nixon on the laboratory. but first, i will need to identify the "effectiveness" of this natural enemies. Wether it can really be applied on field, wether it is easy to manage, and wether this natural enemies really could "destroy" the bagworm that caused a big loss in oil palm (44% loss!). if it mets all this requirement, so I will rare this natural enemy and observe it from the stage in egg, larvae, until it died.

b- research on pest of kenaf (Jatropha Curcas)

in Terengganu, they had started a big project on kenaf. However, our kenaf is too short and gives low yield due to the outbreak of this bug "Anomala albupilosa" and worm (I forget its name, hehe..sorry). So, my lecturer suggested me to do research on this two pests. However, it is a big topics and I can choose wether to  narrow it down to study on the population of the the pests, to study on natural enemies of this pests, or related to toxicology to observe which chemical pesticide is more effective in killing the pests, costs, and wether it gives effect on environments.

I dont really discuss this topic with the lecturer yet. The topic was proposed by my respective lecturer himself, and Prof Madya Dr Hasbullah has a "big name" on this entomology field. So, if i do research under him, definitely I wil have a bonus on his name.. hehe (politics). However, I can say that if I chose this topic, I will be doing all the entomology traps and observe all the pests that attacks citrus. Which means, I will have to evaluate so many species..huhu.

My Favourite Sports

Salam readers. Its been a while since I updated my blog. I have been thinking a lot on what topic should i "reveal" here. At last, I had come out to say on "my favourite sports"..(ade ala2 macam karangan mase skolah rendah kan? ;)  Okay, lets go straight away on my favourite sports. 

SUPERBIKES

At the age of six, I love any games that related to superbikes...I remember my dad told me that I would be very angry if anybody changes TV programme that shows superbikes, always wanted to have a superbike and shout to have it if any superbike comes across my eyes.. ;p

imagine in future if i park this bike outside my house. :)

BADMINTON

In primary schools, this is the first sport that I know. (mainly because I was elected as Committee Member for Badminton Club..hehe). My dad had to sent me twice a week for training at Stadium Jalan Kolam in Alor Star. Unluckily, i just manage to join for 3 weeks before my dad stop sending me there due to his busyness..huhu.

BASKETBALL

Started to play basketball in form Two. I found this sports to be so amazing. :) During that time I bold my hair (not really bold sampai botak chin okay) and suddenly this Slamdunk comics become so famous. So, I was always associated with the character, until they called me "Hanamichi"...hahaaa. Do represents my sportshouse back then in Form 3 and Form 5, and our Team had became indisputable winner...While in MARA College of Kulim, once again I got a chance to represent my college but my parents did not allow as they want me to focus more on studies. So, I was only made as Team B to play for any friendly match. :(

Anyway, I still LOVES basketball.

SILAT

As a Malay, I always have a spirit to preserve my own heritage, Silat. Listening to an old folks stories of how great our martial arts are, makes me feel so anxious about it. Start to learn silat formally in Form 1, with Silat Lok 9. I don't really understand the syllabus as I skipped a few classes..hehe. Furthermore, this silat teaches us more on senaman rather than its move. While I was in form Two, Silat Lok 9 is not available anymore. MRSM Langkawi had brings us a more better and established, Silat Gayong Malaysia. I was really excited about this martial arts and my sifu, Abg Apiz had done its job well in teaching us. He teaches us a lots, and with his helps and highly committed, we manage to win many medals in Kejohanan Silat MRSM Se-Malaysia and MRSM Langkawi become a mouth-buzz as a "big name". I myself had won Gold Medal and became the Top Scorer among all. We really enjoy being with him and until now, I don't want any other sifu to teach me Silat except him. :)

EQUESTRIAN

My latest favourite sports. I love horses, as it is one of intelligent animals. Furthermore it is one of sunnah, right. Starts to join Equestrian in UDM Ko-Kurikulum, and a first batch student to register it back in Fourth Semester (last year, January until April 2009). With a mission to master in riding horses, a few of us had decided to established a club named as UDM Equestrian Club (UDMEC) and i was elected as its "Ex-Officio". However, i don't have a chance to continue riding since I moved to UDM Kampus KOTA hostel, it had became so hard on us without any transports provided. Our coach, one of the big stars in this arena (Mr Nazulki Muda), had even once offered me to join Endurance Challenge but due to lack of practises, he cancelled the plan. :(

I guess thats all on the sports that i LOVE. There are a few more, but they don't really manage to capture my heart (ayat jiwang)...haha. The sports are like volleyball, ping-pong, futsal, softball, chess, and etc. Until then, thanks for spending your time reading. Bye.  :)

Boys Out Futsal

Salam.

Teringin kongsi cerita pengalaman kali pertama berFutsal. Aku merupakan insan yg x berapa minat dunia keBOLAan nie...sebab pada aku, terlampau ramai sgt umat manusia yg maen Bola, maen Futsal. kt mane2 pn boleyh nmpk org maen Bola. So, aku cenderung involve dalam game yg lebih best (pada aku), macam Silat, Basketball, dan lain2. Game yg ada potensi utk aku memajukan diri dan paling penting, nmpak different to others. :)

Okay. Xde cerita menarik pn untuk dikongsi sebenarnye. Cuma teringin catat dalam blog tentang "sejarah" baru dalam hidup, pegi maen Futsal..hehe. (p/s: walaupn aku x minat, tp aku bukan "kaki bangku" okay). Main Lapan orang je, 4 lawan 4 antara Red Team (Annas, Asyraf, Dani, Mohiddin) dan Black, Yellow, and Blue Team (Ju, Irfan, Joy, dan Aku). Name team ikot warna baju...hehe. Dan paling penting, nk tulis kt sini Team ktorg menang (13 berbalas 12) dan aku salah sorg org yg skor. ;p

Ktorang maen seronok2 jek..meluangkan masa beriadhah, menyihatkan badan. Menghidupkan hidup a.k.a Live our Life. ;)  utk menceritakan suasana dengan lebih baik, silalah tengok gambar ini ye..

kenangan kembara di Bumi Kenyalang

Bismillah.

Sedikit terlewat tapi rasanya belum terlambat untuk berkongsi cerita serta mencoret sepatah dua kisah Kembara di Sarawak. Tidak akan ada perkataan ataupun ayat yg mampu mengolah pengalaman dan kenangan baru di sana, namun saya cuba usahakan juga.

 

Kembara...Marvelous

Dari Semenanjung semasa di LCCT, perasaan saya bercampur baur antara teruja berada di tempat baru, dengan perasaan takut mengikuti program sampai 13 hari, terpanjang dalam sejarah hidup. Ternyata, perasaan excited masih berterusan ke hari ini walaupun program tersebut telah berlalu hampir 2 minggu lepas. Kenangan senyuman urusetia (k.ninie),
sorakan rakan kumpulan kembara (Kelontet, Tekoyong, Terubok, Kelibar), serta telatah gelagat pemimpin muda menghiasi keindahan perjalanan.

Alhamdulillah, setinggi penghargaan dan seikhlas ucapan terima kasih diucapkan buat warga urusetia dari UNIMAS yang bertungkus lumus menjayakan program serta KPT yang memberi sokongan. Jika sudi, jemputlah lagi. Kamek sik jeghat.. :)

Tempat lawatan

Banyak untuk diceritakan perihal tempat lawatan, tapi saya fikir gambar akan lebih menjuarai perkongsian. Terasa seperti berada di dunia baru, setiap sudut pandangan tidak dilepaskan tanpa "klik" dari kamera dulu. Balik ke semenanjung, baru perasan memori untuk gambar mencapai 8Gb! Nasib baik 13 hari, kalau lama lagi alamatnya kena bawak hard disk lah. :)

Masyarakat tempatan

Antara perkara menarik tentang Sarawak ialah 27 kumpulan etnik nya. Namun kami hanya berkesempatan untuk mengenali lebih mendalam 7 etnik utama; Iban, Bidayuh, Melanau, Ulu, Penan, Melayu dan Cina melalui lawatan dan homestay. Keunikan budaya, kepercayaan, amalan tradisi, loghat bahasa, makanan, aktiviti harian, kesenian, adalah satu khazanah negara yg sangat bernilai. saya sendiri berpeluang belajar sedikit bahasa Melanau (selamet labik=selamat datang, Makan=Keman, Minum=Tuteng, Air=Nya'am @Anum, Siapa=Sai @Yai, Awak=Ka'au @Nou @Kan).

p/s: nti saya bukak kelas bahasa k bagi yg berminat. :)

seperkara lagi adalah berkenaan sambutan yg diberikan kepada kami. memang terbaek lah! rasa di rumah Iban je boleh minum air gas sampai 27 gelas. ;) tak lupa kepada Kampung Teh, yg terletak di Dalat, dalam Bahagian Mukah. penduduknya cukup peramah, cepat mesra. siap ade yg bermain pantun lg, sambil menikmati makanan tempatan yg dibuat berasaskan sagu seperti tebalui.

 

Peserta program

"perisa tambahan" kepada program dtg daripada peserta sendiri. 70 mahasiswa dari 24 IPT berlainan dipilih samada pemimpin di universiti masing2 atau bakal pemimpin tak kiralah pemimpin kelab, persatuan, atau MPP. antara perkara menarik utk dikongsi adalah bekalan "refreshment"- mula dengan tepuk terima kasih, kakiku kedepan, goyang2, sana sini senang, ulat bulu, kereta motosikal, cacing panjang pendek, dan bermacam lagi hinggalah kepada ingat itu remember. tak lupa juga kepada ramai sahabat baru pemimpin muda; Rahman, Ami, Mathew aka rummate, Nasey, Hafiz, Abg Kudin. Buat rakan senegeri; Jo, Abg Kudin, Chin, Baz, dan kawan dari Kedah, jom kita buat Kembara Kedah plak ye.. (saja nk mention nama Jo...) ;)

intipati penting kt sini bkenaan perkongsian idea dan nilai kepimpinan yg dipelajari. buat peserta kembara, malam "serah pada ketua, pura2 mati, panjat pokok, bincang dulu, biarkan makanan hanyut, keutamaan ilmu, dsb" mungkin menjadi malam terpenting utk pengajaran semua. jika dikenang semula, byk aksi dan gelagat yg tak pernah dilihat berlaku malam tu. pengalaman yg cukup menarik. ;)

"untuk menjadi pemimpin yg baik, telinga kena peka, hati kena terbuka"..

"perkara yg baik, jika diberitahu cara tak baik, susah utk didengar...

tapi perkara tak baik, jika diberitahu cara baik, senang mendapat perhatian..."

"Pemimpin mesti tajam dalam membaca isu dan sentiasa berlapang dada. Sasaran harus tepat dan sabar dalam melepaskan panahan"

sedikit terlambat, tapi masih tak terlewat..untuk UDM, hari ini merupakan hari pertama bermulanya "final exam". justeru, saya nak ucapkan semoga berjaya menjawab soalan dengan yakin lagi tepat, insyaALLAH kita bakal beroleh kemanisan dan kegemilangan di slip peperiksaan nanti.

di kesempatan ini juga, saya sekali lagi ingin menzahirkan keikhlasan memohon maaf kepada semua individu jika ada terguris dihati, atau apa sahaja kesalahan sama ada secara zahir mahupun tidak.

Niat, Nawaitu

hadis daripada Umar bin al-Khattab r.a, beliau berkata: Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

“Sesungguhnya setiap amalan itu hanya dengan niat. Dan sesungguhnya setiap orang hanya mendapat balasan mengikut apa yang diniatkan. Sesiapa yang berhijrah untuk mencari duniawi atau untuk mendapatkan wanita yang ingin dikahwini, maka (pahala) hijrahnya itu mengikut niatnya.” (Riwayat al-Bukhari).

Menjelang ramadhan setiap kita berusaha meningkatkan pembersihan jiwa. Mendekatkan diri kepada Allah. Mengakui sesuatu yang benar itu benar sekalipun ia menyanggahi kepentingan dan kehendak diri kita. Mengakui yang salah itu salah, sekalipun kita sudah terbabit dengan yang salah tersebut.

niat bukanlah seperti yang dibayangkan oleh sesetengah pihak iaitu ucapan di lidah “sengaja aku berniat......." Niat adalah keazaman seseorangan untuk melakukan sesuatu tindakan. Dalamnya merangkumi segala yang tersirat di sebalik sesuatu perbuatan.

Ramai manusia yang lantang berniat di lidah, tetapi hasilnya kontang. Tidak kurang juga yang memberi hasil yang hebat, tapi sayang niatnya menyimpang. Moga kita dijauhi dari 2 spesies manusia ini.

seuntai kata pemula bicara

salam perpaduan, salam muhibbah, salam aspirasi, salam 1 Malaysia

salam kepada semua..ramai yang bertanya sebelum ini, "asrul ada blog?". satu persoalan yang cukup kemas tapi mencemaskan. seolahnya, saya tertinggal jauh ke belakang apabila tidak turut serta bersama arus media. Maka bersempena dengan tarikh KEMERDEKAAN negara kita, saya ingin mengumumkan bahawa blog ini akan mula beroperasi secara rasmi.

Saya berharap rakan2 blogger terutama yang lebih senior dapat membantu dalam perkongsian pendapat dan hujah2 bernas dalam sama2 membina nilai pemikiran yang lebih mantap dan berkualiti. Moga dengan perkongsian pendapat di sini akan lebih merapatkan ukhwah sesama kita serta boleh menjulang budaya ilmu bukan budaya ampu, budaya amanah bukan budaya fitnah, dan budaya rasional bukan budaya personal.
